Ryan Boots, Managing Broker & Co-owner; https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryanboots/
Ryan spent most of his early career in sales and strategic business development roles for large multinational corporations primarily in the IT and Commercial Real Estate fields for over 10yrs. While working with those companies he found interest in and began acquiring his own residential real estate portfolio, which opened his eyes to new opportunities and ways he could create long-term wealth through real estate and help others through their journey as well. Having graduated from Ball State University in 2007 earning a B.S. degree in Entrepreneurship, Ryan felt it was time to exercise that degree and began the transition of acquiring Morgan Properties and focusing on real estate full-time in 2018. Since then, Ryan has continued to retain and grow his investment portfolio and is actively involved in helping other investors successfully do the same.
Interests: All things Real Estate! My Family – Wife, Angie, and two active boys. Spending time with best friends. Golfing, Building RC Cars, and if you can’t find me doing any of those things…I’ve gone fishing!
Angie Boots, Co-Owner
Angie was born and raised in Anderson, IN having graduated from local Daleville High School in 2004. After high school, she attended Ball State University earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing becoming a Registered Nurse upon graduation. She spent 8yrs serving as a Labor & Delivery Nurse before hanging up her scrubs to focus on raising her two young boys. In 2020, Ryan and Angie acquired Morgan Properties from Angie’s Aunt & Uncle and has since moved her career focus to real estate and serving our owners interests full-time.
From Angie: “I am learning everyday how to be the best property manager I can be. I am so appreciative of our owner and tenant communities and am very thankful to be back home.”
Interests: I enjoy spending time with my husband Ryan and our boys, family & friends, traveling, music, being outdoors, and taking care of my house plants.
Ralph Cincush, Director, Construction & Operations of The Maintenance Managers
Area of Focus: Maintenance Repairs and Construction, General Contracting, Property Inspections and Due Diligence
Ralph was born and raised in Michigan, graduated from Western Michigan University, and eventually relocated permanently to Muncie in the spring of 2009. He has spent his entire career employed in some facet of the home improvement and real estate industries. Ralph grew his career initially working for Menards where he eventually became the Store Manager where he oversaw multiple remodels and built relationships with local contractors and led a team of over 160 employees. Ralph also held a short stent as a mortgage broker and appraiser before he decided to pursue his Indiana Real Estate Inspector’s license. Ralph is a licensed property inspector with several years of experience creating inspection reports and evaluating residential real estate. He is also a “brother of the cloth” with several rental properties of his own and where he has found a real passion in his life.
Interests: In my free time I enjoy learning new things (specifically real estate related), hanging out with my wife and daughter, and doing anything outdoors.
Cheryl Shirley, Senior Rent Manager, Bookkeeper
Area of Focus: Rent Management, Buildium Reports and Owner Financials, New Management Onboarding
Cheryl has spent most of her career in a variety of accounting roles. Fresh out of high school she started in the Revenue Accounting Department of Burlington Motor Carriers where she worked for 12 years. Then deciding to go work with her husband at a printing company; she worked in both the mailing and accounting departments. After nearly a decade of service she decided to move from the accounting field for a brief time to help fulfil orders for a friend’s eBay business. She realized she missed working with numbers, so she started working for a local accounting firm. It was there that her opportunity to work for Morgan Properties began. Cheryl has been serving as Morgan Properties Rent Manager & Bookkeeper since 2017.
From Cheryl: “I absolutely love my job, what I do and who I work with. I strive to help our owners and tenants in any way I can. I have found my forever home/career here.”
Interests: Spending time with my husband and our kids (dogs), family and friends. My favorite place to vacation is in Tennessee and go any chance I get. I also enjoy crafting in my spare time.
Tamera Mills, Associate Property Manager, Lead Receptionist
Area of Focus: Receptionist Duties, Application Processing, Office Administration
Tamera was born and raised in Anderson, IN and raised two children in the community Morgan Properties services. Tamera has been responsible for running a variety of businesses throughout her career including an arcade and gaming business, and managing the family horse farm where she found a deep passion for horses. She previously came to Morgan Properties from a previous property management firm where she performed similar duties. Tamera brings a strong customer service approach to her job and cares deeply about serving our clients and the communities and residences we support.
Interests: I love camping and fishing, being with family and friends, and enjoy the great family atmosphere working at Morgan Properties!
Angie Murphy, Associate Property Manager
Area of Focus: Marketing and Listing Specialist, Application processing, Property Inspections, Office Administration
Angie comes to Morgan Properties with over 12 years of Residential Senior Living experience where she achieved multiple promotions and held a variety of property management specific positions. Angie was also born and raised in Anderson, IN, and stays busy keeping up with her 4 grandchildren and fur babies. She is passionate about her family and is still in love with her best friend/husband of over 20 years.
Interests: I enjoy crafting, binge watching reality TV, camping, fishing, rummage sales, love festivals, and I have a passion for cooking and baking.
Carlos Hernandez, Maintenance & Repair Specialist
Area of Focus: Repairs and Maintenance, Estimating, Property Inspections
Carlos was born and raised in the Anderson, IN area graduating from Frankton High School and completing his Associates Degree from Ivy Tech. He previously has worked in a variety of handyman and contracting positions doing roofing, landscaping, and mechanical work. Carlos enjoys understanding how things operate and learning skilled trades has become a passion for him. Carlos is pursuing his Real Estate license and hopes to become a real estate investor and agent in the future.
Interests: Spending time with my family, jamming to music, cooking and grilling, landscaping, building with recycled materials, dancing and being self-sufficient!
Jessica Degbelo, Associate Property Manager and Boots Realty Broker/Agent
Area of Focus: Acquisition Agent for Boots Realty, Property Inspections, Office Administration
Jessica grew up in Anderson, IN and graduated from Highland Highschool. She has an Associates Business Degree from Indiana Wesleyan. Jessica is a wife and proud mother of two active young children that keep her busy and fulfilled. Jessica most recently came to Morgan Properties from a Real Estate Wholesaling role where she was actively involved in the buying, selling, inspecting, and renovating aspect of residential real estate in the area. She is currently pursuing her Real Estate License and plans to focus her career as an agent on investor class assets and supporting Morgan Properties in its’ effort to assist its’ owners in acquiring more productive income producing assets to their portfolio.
Interests: I’m passionate about helping and serving people and my local community. I’m an active member in The Anderson Church of Christ. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, my church, hiking, adventuring around the country and watching comedies and scary movies.
Michelle Howard, Property Management Specialist
Area of Focus: Rent Management, Security Deposits, Eviction filing and Court Representative
Michelle is a proud Madison County native with a knack for customer service and working with numbers. She comes highly recommended by a long-term local manufacturing business where she assisted with accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration duties and was a key contributor to their business for over 14yrs. Michelle is excited to bring her knack for numbers and experience into property management and continue to support the community in a meaningful way.
Interests: Michelle has 2 lovely daughters, 4 school aged grandchildren, a mixed lab named “Bella” and a rescue cat “Lucy”. She enjoys grilling out with an adult beverage, gardening, vacations with friends, and family time.
